Agua De Valencia

My partner-in-crime and I drank this cocktail with abandon when we were in Valencia a few years ago. I had almost forgotten all about it until recently. Quite a sweet delight of a cocktail and very more-ish 🥴. You make it ahead of time and let it sit in the fridge for a few hours. I know, the bubbles, but I just did as it said (and then added more at the end 😂).
For two servings and enough for a top up:
8 oz Cava
8 oz Fresh squeezed OJ
1 oz Gin
1 oz Vodka
1 oz Blue Agave or simple syrup
After resting in the fridge a while, shake it in a cocktail shaker with ice, but be careful as there's still some fizz in the Cava and the shaker wants to explode (I exaggerate a tad). You can relieve some of the pressure by releasing the lid a little part way through shaking! Serve in a coupe glass and top with a little fresh Cava!
