Still eating leftovers from Thanksgiving and Birthday dinners, so not a lot new going on in the kitchen, though looking forward to getting back to some seriously good vegetarian dishes from a variety of cookbooks.
In the meantime I have been wanting to make David Lebovitz's Parisian Hot Chocolate (as opposed to his Belgian Hot Chocolate).
After digging trenches in the back yard for a retaining wall on Sunday in 50° temps, I decided to tackle this ever so easy Hot Chocolate. Just milk and 72% cacao (bittersweet) chocolate. I made half the recipe, added zero sugar and we both shared a cup of this delicious, thick, hot, nothing-but-goodness and well deserved drink.
