Sunday Morning Fare

What better way to end the week, or start the week, (depending upon whether or not your country has adopted the International Standard ISO 8601, which counts Sunday as the seventh day 🤔).....

but with French Toast.

It's a mid-morning Sunday staple for us and a good use of Sourdough Bread that's getting close to it's expiry date. I keep it pretty simple with egg, a dash of cream, a little honey and maybe a drop of vanilla extract. The honey lends a nice golden colour to the finished toast. It's then smothered in butter and raspberry jam, of course.
